Denza arrives in our continent with two models with well -kept finishes and rich in innovative technologies, including the independent rear steering
The brand Dence was founded in 2010 as a joint venture between Byd and Mercedesbut has evolved over the years passing completely under the control of the Chinese house. Now he is preparing for his debut in Europe, initially with two products: the luxury sedan Z9GT and the van premium D9. The high technological content is one of the cornerstones of this new brand: there are many innovative solutions on its models, thanks to the adoption of a dedicated platform called E3. Design is also designed to be aligned with European taste under the direction of Wolfgang Eggerwho in his career has designed cars for Alfa Romeo, Seat, Lancia and Audi, among others. Elegance and technology are therefore the key points of the new byd premium brand, whose first two models will be available in Europe and in Italy by the end of the year.
Premium positioning
–
The Denza brand will occupy the Niche higher than by Byd on the European market, offering a level of high technology combined with important dimensions and great attention to the finishes and comfort of passengers. In particular, his flagship model will be the Z9GTa 5.20m length shooting proposed both with electric engine and plug-in hybrid with super dm three-engined technology, with very high powers approaching 1,000 hp combined. The well -kept and modern design is distinguished by the soft shapes of the outsiders, characterized by the front headlights of elongated shape, while on the sides there is a contrast line between the wheel arches that almost recalls an aerodynamic appendix of Formula 1. The pitched rear culminates with a spoiler and with the large lights with an hourglass motif.
E3 platform
–
The technical basis of the new Denza vehicles that we will see arrive in Europe is the innovative E3 platformhighly technological and full of exclusive solutions. The architecture of the Cell-to-Body batterythat is, drowned in the frame, it is not new for electric cars, but Denza introduces it for the first time on a plug-in hybrid. In addition, the three -independent electric architecture (the fourth thermal is added to the Super DM) allows you to adjust the distribution of real -time traction based on road conditions, integrating functions such as the Torque Vectoring on the double rear engine. In addition, the rear wheels are able to move independently, allowing a steering radius of only 4.62 metersbut also exclusive functions: the “Crab Walk“, or thediagonal pace with a maximum corner of 15 °; the complete rotation of the vehicle on its axis; The simplified parkingwhere the posterior is inserted precisely in space thanks to the counter -seterior wheels.
Even more security
–
Among the other functions integrated in the E3 platform we find the Vehicle Motion Control (VMC)a system that coordinates all the inputs of the vehicle, from steering to the brakes and suspensions, acting as a neural network capable of offering the maximum conditions of comfort based on the situation. This system allows you to control the car with ease even in dangerous situations, such as the outbreak of a high -speed tire: thanks to the management of the torque, the risk of setting and loss of control is drastically reduced.
