Competing in the World Moto3 Championship, national motorcyclist Deniz Öncü finished fourth in the Qatar Grand Prix, the first race of the season.
The first race of the season was held in Doha on the 5.4 kilometer International Lusail Circuit.
Italian motorcyclist Andrea Migno emerged victorious, with Spain’s Sergio Garcia second and Japan’s Kaito Toba third to see the checkered flag.
Red Bull KTM Tech3 team pilot Deniz Öncü finished the first race of the season in fourth place.
The second race of the season in Moto3 will be held in Indonesia on March 20.
