Actress Denise Richards, best known as Bond girl in The World Is Not Enough (1999), and her husband were reportedly shot at by an angry motorist. The confrontation occurred while both were driving to a Los Angeles film studio. They were unharmed and only later noticed the bullet holes in their vehicle.
Thank you. I would never wish any harm on anyone. What I experienced yesterday with my husband, not that you care. Was the most terrifying situation I have ever been in. I’m sorry a shot didn’t grace my neck…asshole https://t.co/xWrAqvSeoa

“She was very upset and scared, but she pulled herself together and shot all day,” an insider from the set told People magazine. “She didn’t want to be absent from work.” According to the insider, Richards was in the passenger seat during the incident while her husband, Aaron Phypers, was driving. Apparently, when they slowed down to look for a parking space, the driver behind them got annoyed and started jostling. Even when Phypers turned several times, he stayed behind them.
Eventually the other driver stopped by her side and Phypers opened the window to confront him. The other then “freaked out” and accused Richards and her husband of cutting him. Despite an apology, the driver continued to yell at her, so Phypers eventually drove on. They only saw the bullet hole in the back of their truck in the studio.
Richards later responded to a user’s heartless comment on Twitter on Twitter. He had commented on a CBS report with the words: “I don’t care, I kind of hope, to be honest, that she would have been grazed in the neck.” Richards replied: “I would never wish anyone harm. What I experienced yesterday with my husband, not that you care. Was the scariest situation I’ve ever been in. I’m sorry a shot didn’t graze your throat…asshole.”
Richards is also known for her roles in the sci-fi film Starship Troopers (1997) and thriller Wild Things (1998). Most recently, she also took part in the reality soap The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
