Denim Première Vision focuses on Milan

The sourcing trade fair Denim Première Vision will not return to Berlin next spring. The next editions in November and May 2024 would be held in Milan, a spokesman for the exhibition company said on Wednesday when asked by FashionUnited, thereby confirming previous media reports.

In the past two years, the fairs took place alternately in the Italian fashion metropolis and in Berlin. Denim Première Vision most recently made a guest appearance in the capital on May 31st and June 1st. In the Arena event center in the Treptow district, more than 60 denim manufacturers and suppliers from 14 countries presented their products for the autumn/winter 2024 season to trade visitors.

The organizers justified the decision in favor of Milan in a statement: The Lombard metropolis is “one of the most inspiring cities for the luxury and fashion sector as well as for industrial design” and “the center of Italian fashion” with the company headquarters of well-known brands from different segments and important ones Showrooms, it says there. As the “historic denim capital”, Milan is also “witnessing the birth of pioneering brands that are among the biggest players in this segment”. In addition, the city offers international visitors good transport options, hotels, shopping opportunities and cultural offerings.
