The denim fair Kingpins Amsterdam is back. In an update, the trade fair organizer reports that it is planning the biannual trade fair for April 20th and 21st and October 19th and 20th this year.
“As long as the Dutch government doesn’t ban public gatherings, we will pretend it’s 2019 and life is normal, but with face masks and tests,” the statement said. Kingpins Amsterdam has already started preparations for the two fairs. “There will always be new ‘types’ of viruses. Those of us who need inspiration need to get out of our bubble.”
With the return of the trade fairs, Kingpins Amsterdam will finally take place at its new location. The fair takes place in Sugarcity in Halfweg, not far from Amsterdam. “We love the building, its age, the atmosphere and the raw elements that remind us of an unwashed piece of denim. It’s a large and open space that allows us to come together and do business in a comfortable and safe environment.”
Further details on the two fairs are to be announced shortly, according to the statement.
