Demonstration against rising energy prices attracts few demonstrators to Bruges

Rising energy prices are causing a lot of unrest among people. Many are dissatisfied with the government’s measures, demanding change. That is why the organization wanted to make their voices heard in Bruges today. However, the demonstration was not very successful: it was limited to about fifteen people.

Many reasons lie at the basis of this low turnout, according to the organization. “Many people have not yet realized what is coming their way,” it sounds. Demonstrators themselves then look for the cause elsewhere: “It seems that Club Brugge is playing. Bad weather, that is also a setback.”
