The swimming pool from 1973 is no longer used and it is the city council that decided to demolish it.
The days of the old municipal swimming pool of Ostend now seem real
counted. A crane has been started at the back of the building
first demolition works.
The city promises that a park will be set up here
and that the swimming pool site will become open space again. That here someday again
is built, the city council wants to avoid with a new spatial design
planning plan. The demolition works will continue until the end of February.
