Flemish Minister of Energy Zuhal Demir (N-VA) opposes the increase in the VAT rate from 6 to 9 percent on the renovation of homes older than ten years. This would put a brake on the Flemish energy and renovation policy. Groen also opposed that VAT increase for the same reason.
