Delhaize management pushes its own social proposal: “This is a declaration of war”

Delhaize is pushing its own social proposal despite the rejection of the unions. The first privatized supermarket will open its doors in Denderleeuw on October 10. The guidance measures that the management put forward in its most recent proposal will apply. “We have made a substantial effort, although this was not mandatory,” says spokesperson Roel Dekelver. “This is a declaration of war,” responds Myriam Delmée, chairwoman of the socialist employee union BBTK.
