The Wolfsburg Grizzlies are only missing one win to reach the semi-finals. The third of the regular season celebrated the next clear success against the Fischtown Pinguins after the 5:0 win in the opening round and this time won 6:2 away in Bremerhaven.
Düsseldorfer EG – EHC Red Bull Munich 3:2
The Düsseldorfer EG, who only reached the quarter-finals via the pre-playoffs, managed to equalize in the series against Red Bull Munich. After the 4-2 defeat, the Düsseldorfers fought back in a hall and beat the favorites 3-2. The two games of the regular season each went to Munich, DEG now managed the first win in the playoff duel.
