The eight-time champions Düsseldorf, who suffered their seventh defeat in their eighth game of the season, are still not getting going. In front of their home crowd, the DEG had to admit defeat to the Frankfurt Löwen with 3:7 (2:3, 1:2, 0:2) and remain at the bottom of the table with just four points.
The Nuremberg Ice Tigers lost to the Schwenninger Wild Wings 1:4 (0:1, 1:1, 0:2), with the same result the Augsburger Panthers also lost against the Fischtown Pinguins Bremerhaven.
