Deichmann appoints Sascha Bader Vice President E-Com Global

The retail group Deichmann SE has further strengthened its e-commerce team. On Monday, the shoe retailer announced that Sascha Bader had been appointed to the newly created post of Vice President E-Com Global. The 48-year-old already has many years of experience in the group: for the past seven years he has been Head of Ecommerce, Omnichannel & CRM at the Swiss Deichmann subsidiary Ochsner Sport.

“I am very pleased that in Sascha Bader we have been able to recruit an experienced E-Com expert from our own Deichmann group of companies for this new position,” explained Alexander Bellin, who is the Group’s Managing Director for the areas of digital/online Business and Marketing is responsible.

In his new function, Bader’s tasks now include “the further development and internationalization of the e-commerce area”, Deichmann said. The position was created in order to “interlink the e-commerce activities of the individual companies in the Deichmann Group even more closely and make even better use of synergies”.
