Düsseldorfer EG from the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) has retained top scorer Brendan O’Donnell.
The Rhinelanders, who missed the play-offs, gave the Canadian a new contract until the end of the coming season.
DEG announced this on Friday immediately before the start of the last main round game against the Löwen Frankfurt.
O’Donnell has been hunting for goals for Düsseldorf since the 2021/22 season. In the current season, the 31-year-old scored 20 goals before the end of the main round and added 16 more. O’Donnell had missed the first 20 DEL games due to a serious injury.
