Flames and smoke over Tempelhof! A woman was injured in a motorhome fire on Sunday. Witnesses report an explosion!
Several residents had alerted the fire brigade in the afternoon because fire had broken out in the vehicle that had been parked on the side of the road for several weeks. Cause unclear! But apparently there was a deflagration from a gas bottle.
Firefighters took a woman to the hospital. She was apparently injured by flying debris. She is said to have moved near the mobile home. It is not yet clear how badly she was injured. According to a police spokesman, there is no danger to life.
The fire brigade was with 24 emergency services and several fire engines at the fire site on Prühßstraße, near Mariendorfer Damm. The flames were extinguished after about an hour. The police took over the investigation into the cause of the fire.
