TOP Oss and NAC Breda were defeated in the Kitchen Champion Division. TOP Oss lost well to Jong Ajax, 4-1. NAC Breda went down against Jong FC Utrecht, 1-0. The goal came in the last minute of the game. Young PSV kept promotion candidate FC Volendam 2-2.
Young PSV – FC Volendam 2-2
Young PSV has managed to keep FC Volendam, the number two of the Kitchen Champion Division, in a draw. The team of trainer Wim Jonk came through a goal from Bilal Ould-Chikh at 0-1. Maximiliano Romero equalized from a penalty kick. Robert Mühren gave the visitors a 1-2 lead, but FC Volendam did not enjoy the lead much. A few minutes later, Romero nicely equalized, 2-2.
Young Ajax – TOP Oss 4-1
The match between Jong Ajax and TOP Oss had already been decided in favor of the team from Amsterdam before half-time. After 15 minutes Brian Brobbey was allowed to take a penalty after Mohamed Daramy was knocked out in the penalty area, 1-0. Kenneth Taylor scored two goals within ten minutes, 3-0. After the break, Mohamed Ihattaren increased the lead to 4-0. The former PSV player, who made his debut for Jong Ajax against NAC last week, curled the ball beautifully into the far corner.
In injury time, Niels Fleuren saved the honor for the Ossenaren, 4-1. It was only his second league goal in his career, he scored his first goal in 2005 (for VVV Venlo).
Young FC Utrecht – NAC Breda 1-0
NAC Breda played a very mediocre match against Jong FC Utrecht. It hardly created any chances against the Utrecht team, which is penultimate in the Kitchen Champion Division. In stoppage time, the home team still managed to take the win. Pontus Almqvist scored the winning goal.
