Retailer Deerberg GmbH has changed its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The company, which specializes in sustainable clothing, shoes and home textiles, announced on Tuesday that Björn Göttsche had taken over the post on September 1st. The 32-year-old succeeded Andreas Buchholz and is now responsible for the areas of finance, HR & administration, facility management and logistics.
Before moving to Deerberg, Göttsche had spent more than six years at the Hamburg online fashion retailer About You Holding SE. Most recently, he held the position of Head of Controlling there and in this capacity was also involved in the IPO of the e-commerce specialist last summer.
CEO Lars Buschbom paid tribute to the newcomer: “The fact that we were able to win over Björn Göttsche from Deerberg shows the attractiveness of the company and our business model,” he said in a statement. “I look forward to working with him on the management board and am certain that we are optimally positioned for a successful future.”
