US shoe specialist Deckers Brands, which owns brands such as Ugg, Koolaburra, Hoka, Teva and Sanuk, has appointed Anne Spangenberg as President of Fashion Lifestyle. She will begin her new role on July 11, 2022. She will be part of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to Dave Powers, Chief Executive Officer and President of Deckers Brands.
Spangenberg brings a wealth of experience as a global executive and strategic brand developer, most recently as global vice president of merchandising at Nike, Inc. She previously held senior positions at Gap and Macy’s. She will lead Deckers’ fashion lifestyle brands, including the Ugg and Koolaburra brands, with a focus on issues such as product diversification, consumer acceptance and franchise.
