Wesley Koolhof managed to qualify for the second round with Briton Neal Skupski. Koolhof and Skupski defeated Argentinians Facundo Bagnis and Diego Schwartzman 6-3 7-5 6-3.
In the women’s doubles, Demi Schuurs and Arianne Hartono reached the second round. The Dutch duo was 6-3 6-4 too strong for the British duo Jodie Burrage/Eden Silva.
