American Debbie67, was shocked at first herself when she found out about her Moroccan lover Oussama age. She talks about it in the Yankee reality show 90 days as a bride: Maailmalla.
– I knew Oussama was younger. I just didn’t know how much younger Oussama was until I met him, Debbie admits.
It’s been about 2.5 years since that meeting. The couple had gotten to know each other half a year earlier through social media.
– At first I said that I can’t be in a relationship because Oussama is too young, Debbie recalls her first trip to Morocco.

Over the course of three years, there have been two more, which was enough for Oussama, an artist and poet, to propose to Debbie, who is also artistically oriented. Now Debbie is preparing to move to Morocco and marry her boyfriend.
– He is 24 years old! But I love him, Debbie states.
It was Oussama who convinced Debbie that love should be given a chance regardless of age.
– He made me realize that it’s not about age or circumstances, but about a deeper connection and that we are a team, Debbie says.
– I found a person who fits my personality. I hate that Oussama is so young. I wish he was a grandfather, but he isn’t.

Not everyone close to Debbie believes in Oussama’s sincerity. Working as a police officer Julian-the son is sure that the younger man is just tricking his older mother.
– When I heard that my mother is engaged to a 24-year-old Moroccan man, I started to feel sick. I thought it was a joke, Julian says in the episode, which can already be found on Discovery+.
Debbie tries to make her adult child believe that Oussama is not after her money.
