Deaths from “pneumonia of unknown origin” in Argentina almost certainly caused by legionella

The deaths from double pneumonia in the Argentine province of Tucumán are almost certainly the result of a legionella infection. The governor of the area told local media that the first samples examined by the Malbrán Institute in Buenos Aires showed a positive result for this bacterium. Previously, it was only established that it was not about the coronavirus that causes Covid-19 or the flu virus.
