Deathly ill Rachèle (3) is looking for a suitable stem cell donor

At the end of 2022, Rachèle’s parents noticed unusual bruises on her neck and legs. After a lot of investigations, a heavy verdict was handed down: Rachele suffers from a rare bone marrow disease. The bone marrow of the toddler no longer produces blood cells and platelets. Since then, the girl has spent a lot of time in the hospital, received many blood transfusions and has to take 32 syrups a week. Last month, her parents were told that the treatments were not working. That is why a suitable stem cell donor is now being sought worldwide for Rachele. The toddler’s immune system will be shut down through chemotherapy, to be restarted later via stem cells. Her parents are therefore launching a call to register as a stem cell donor, because “he has to walk around worse in the world”.

You can register as a stem cell donor via the Red Cross.
