Number of deaths in Zaporizhzhya after Russian attack continues

The number of dead after a Russian attack on the Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhya rose further on Saturday. At least 17 people, including a child, have been killed, according to Ukrainian authorities. Twelve people were killed on Friday.

The Russians hit the capital of the region of the same name on Thursday nine times with missiles and are said to have used Iranian drones. Two residential complexes were also affected. Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky said on Telegram that the city “is subjected to massive rocket attacks every day”. That, he says, is a “deliberate crime”.
