The death toll in the Mexican city of Acapulco and surrounding villages, which were hit by Hurricane Otis last week, has risen to 48, the federal government announced on Sunday. According to Governor Evelyn Salgado of the state of Guerrero, it is also known that at least 36 people are still missing.
