A dead woman has been found in a house on Leeuwebekstraat in Veghel. Police say she died as a result of violence. A man has been arrested.
Officers have been at the home since Wednesday morning to investigate. Employees of the forensic investigation team are conducting trace evidence in the house. Officers also go to doors in the neighborhood to talk to residents. It is not clear whether the woman is the resident of the house.
The suspect who has been arrested is a man. It is unknown what his relationship to the woman is.
A police spokesperson said the woman died as a result of a crime. She was killed violently.
