A patrol car crew discovered a well-known drug dealer on Karl-Marx-Platz on Sunday night, who often drives a car without a license.
They wanted to stop him, but he gave full throttle – and almost hit one of the officers!
The police officers gave chase. The VW was stopped at Nogatstrasse/Hermannstrasse, but the driver escaped on foot. A close-range search, which was supported by other emergency services, was unsuccessful.
The VW Touran was secured.
