A suspect was arrested on Tuesday afternoon in the Oud Woensel district of Eindhoven for dealing drugs. Not an unusual case for the police officer, but this suspect still managed to surprise him. According to him, the dealer traveled on a tiny electric children’s bicycle. “It wasn’t above my knees yet,” he says about the bicycle.
“So much for the flashy image,” the officer further wrote in a message on Instagram about the arrest.
“There is a persistent image that street dealers travel in large, expensive and, above all, fast cars. Nothing could be further from the truth, in the vast majority of cases they are old, rickety cars, where every time you shift up you have to hope that the colossus (and you) will remain alive. Sticky bins because the interior is often made of McDonald’s waste and Red Bull,” the police officer continues his story.
But this time it was not about a ‘sticky box’. Furthermore, according to the police officer, the suspect met all the clichés. For example, in the words of the officer, he had ‘the entire pharmacy’s worth of hard drugs in the branded clothing’ and despite all the evidence, the suspect continued to deny everything and invoked his right to remain silent.
