Deadly stabbing: victim (22) was called because of a fight on the terrace

Dozens of people saw the deadly stabbing at De Driesprong in Rosmalen on Saturday evening. The police made the announcement on Sunday morning. A 22-year-old man from Den Bosch was killed in the stabbing.

Around half past nine in the evening a fight arose between a number of guests on the terrace of De EetBar on the Driesprong. One of those involved then called the 22-year-old resident of Bossche. He came to the terrace. There he was stabbed.

The victim was still seriously injured to cross the square to grand café Bottles. The staff there took care of him and the emergency services were called, but the man died on the spot.

Pretty soon, on the basis of witness statements, officers were able to arrest two suspects: a 17-year-old girl from Den Bosch and a 16-year-old girl from Rosmalen. They have been detained for further investigation.

Huge impact
According to the police, it was a busy catering evening in the center of Rosmalen on Saturday. A spokesperson can therefore imagine that the stabbing had a huge impact on those present. “They may need help processing this.” They are referred to Victim Support.
