‘His friends were screaming and crying’
Amsterdam – The square between Hunzestraat and Kinderdijkstraat in Amsterdam’s Rivierenbuurt is once again the scene of excited children playing and sporting on Thursday afternoon. The night before, peers dispersed. A man shot; a 21-year-old Amsterdammer was fatally injured. He managed to run for another two hundred yards, but then succumbed. CPR was of no avail, he died later that evening from his injuries.
