The deceased person, who was found early this week in a roof box in the water of the Oranjekanaal near the Drenthe village of Orvelte, is most likely a 37-year-old woman from Hungary, according to the police. The Drenthe police reported this on Friday. A 52-year-old man from Assen was arrested Friday morning on suspicion of involvement in the woman’s death.
