Alkmaar – The 56-year-old man who was found lifeless in the dune area between Egmond and Bergen by passers-by on Sunday is the victim of a crime. “We are now 100 percent sure that the man, a resident of Alkmaar, was killed by violence. We are not making any announcements about the manner in which he was killed in connection with the investigation, because this concerns specific criminal information,” a police spokesperson confirmed.
