Dead in Den Bosch shooting, suspect found seriously injured in Berlicum

A 52-year-old man was killed in the shooting at a house on Vierde Haren in Den Bosch on Sunday morning. That’s what the police report. An arrest team broke into a home in Berlicum later on Sunday. A seriously injured person was found there, presumably the perpetrator of the shooting incident.

According to a 112 correspondent, the suspect was found in a house on Pastoor van den Boomstraat. Two ambulances were there around 6 a.m. and the street was closed off.

It is not yet clear what exactly happened. Police declined to make any further statements as part of the investigation. The identity of the seriously injured suspect has not been released.

Dedication
The police went to the Vierde Haren with many units around half past eleven on Sunday morning. An entire block of houses was cordoned off. Many of these houses are empty, because they will be demolished.

White-suit tech detectives were investigating the house. They also came out with a dog.

Local residents describe the victim as a quiet man. “He always does his own thing, but is friendly and calm.”
