In a statement on messaging app Telegram, the military said nine Russian drones were intercepted, but one of them hit the area near the port and caused a fire.
One body was recovered at the scene. The fire brigade is also trying to find out whether there are victims under the rubble and to get the fire under control. The military said rockets were also used in the attack but did not hit any targets.
Four people were also injured in the central city of Dnipro when a drone hit an apartment building, the provincial governor announced.
