A serious accident happened last night on the Hemmenweg between Ekehaar and Anreep. A car occupant was killed in the accident. Four others were injured, two of them seriously.
The car with five occupants probably crashed into a tree around a quarter past two. In any case, no other cars were involved, the police said. Police are still investigating how the accident happened.
In addition to the police, fire brigade and ambulances, a trauma helicopter with a mobile medical team from Volkel Air Base (North Brabant) also came to the accident.
Hemmenweg was closed to all traffic after the accident.
