One person has just been killed in a collision with a truck on Provincialeweg (N203) in Krommenie. This is confirmed by the police.
Not much is known about the cause of the accident. It is also not entirely clear whether the victim is a man or a woman and whether it concerns a cyclist over a pedestrian.
Shortly after the accident, a lot of help came from all sides for the victim, but that turned out to be too late. The victim died on the spot.
Road closed
The intersection of Provincialeweg with Iepenstraat has been closed off due to the accident. That will take a long time, because of the research that will take place.
