The school does not want to release much information for the time being. Director Ilse Ghiesmans confirms that the school has taken measures in response to the threat. “All tomorrow’s lessons will be cancelled, parents have been informed.”
It is not entirely clear what exactly that threat entails. Someone allegedly sent a message via the school’s contact page regarding a shooting incident.
The police and the public prosecutor’s office take the threat seriously. “The investigation into the threat is in full swing,” said the West Flanders public prosecutor’s office.
