‘Lease plan De Jonge can actually reduce the supply of rental houses’
The government wants to intervene in the widely differing rents on the housing market. Low incomes have to pay less and higher incomes more. This is stated in plans by Minister of Housing Hugo de Jonge. Stefan Groot, Rabobank housing market economist, is critical of the plans.
