Construction pace up and one-off mandatory rent reduction
The Hague – Housing associations must build twice as many social rental homes. With the abolition of the landlord levy as of 1 January 2023, housing associations will release approximately 1.7 billion euros in investment space each year. This means that more affordable housing should soon be added to the completely stalled housing market. There will also be extra financial support for tenants with a small grant.
