De Halve Maan raises the necessary 2 million euros in one day (!)
Managing Director of De Halve Maan, Xavier Vanneste, is therefore pleased with this successful campaign: “In 2016 we already launched a crowdfunding campaign for the construction of our underground beer pipeline, when we saw how important it is to involve our community in a innovative and sustainable story. Even now, in our further sustainability, we wanted to involve the public, and with success.”
On 1 June, De Halve Maan Brewery announced its latest project: a crowdlending campaign, with which it wished to raise a total of €2,000,000 to invest extra in sustainability. In concrete terms, the brewery wishes to invest in solar panels and a water purification installation, in order to further reduce the impact on the environment.
Apparently many crowd investors have reacted enthusiastically, because the loot is already in after one day.
