De Bleeker wants lower advance bills faster at lower prices in the energy market | Inland

According to De Bleeker, this price decrease must also be reflected in the advance invoice. “These advances must match as closely as possible what will have to be paid throughout the year. (…) It cannot be that the consumer pays far too much and thus plays a banker for the supplier”, she explains.

“In the meantime, the suppliers have already taken steps,” says De Bleeker. For example, Febeg, the federation of Belgian energy suppliers, will put its shoulders to the wheel when calculating the advance invoices. De Bleeker is already satisfied with that, but she wants the plan to be realized in the short term. “It is not enough to have an action plan on paper. If it remains a dead letter, I will continue to act through the courts.”
