Not so long ago, just about every representative drove a diesel car, now diesel drivers are the laughing stock and are known by many environmental clubs as the biggest polluters on the asphalt. Now that the difference in price between diesel and ‘regular’ petrol is shrinking, the days seem numbered for the diesel car: only 1.86 percent of new cars leave the showroom with a roaring diesel engine.
