The Skiing World Cup continues this weekend in Davos.
Iivo Niskanen is still on the sidelines as the Cross Country World Cup continues this weekend in Davos, Switzerland.
Niskanen contracted the coronavirus in November. The Finnish star has returned to the track for ski runs, but the next turn happened on the first weekend of December, when Get it-spouse gave birth to the couple’s first child.
– You made me a father, my son, Niskanen wrote.
Finland will be represented next weekend Niko Anttola, Juuso Haarala, Perttu Hyvärinen, Remi Lindholm, Lauri Mannila, Niilo Moilanen, Joni Mäki, Arsi Ruuskanen, Verneri Suhonen, Markus Vuorela, Lauri Vuorinen.
The World Cup is the first of the season for Suhonen, who suffered from an illness.
Women are included Anne Kyllönen, Anni Lindroos, Kerttu Niskanen, Maaret Pajunoja, Eveliina Piippo, Krista Pärmäkoski.
Jasmi Joensuu already said earlier on his Instagram account that he will not go to Davos.
Norwegian Johannes Kläbo on the other hand, returns to the slopes at the weekend. The Olympic champion fell ill at the beginning of December in Lillehammer, and was only able to ski sprint. Last week’s World Cup in Beitostölen was completely missed.
In Davos, sprints and a 20-kilometer intermediate start race in free skiing are contested.
