David Hasselhoff has canceled his tour for health reasons. Actually, the musician and actor wanted to bring new songs and classics to the stage and come to Germany for that.

But as the organizer now reports, his health is thwarting his plans. Specifically, Hasselhoff suffers from an eye disease that cannot be cured before the tour. On the advice of his doctor, he will therefore not allow the tour to take place.

David Hasselhoff in a personal statement:

Dear fans, I was so looking forward to celebrating Party your Hasselhoff with you in two weeks. It should be danced, sung along and celebrated – something that has become more important than ever. We had put together a beautiful show that would have delighted everyone. Unfortunately I’m ill with a serious eye infection which makes it impossible for me to put on the kind of show you all deserve. It is with a heavy heart that I have to cancel the tour. I’m really sorry to disappoint you all.
