Toni Koskela grinned that David Browne has saved the handsome goals for a good place.

The ball fell as if on a tray about 20 meters away. Every spectator could sense that a loud bomb was about to explode.
A couple of seconds later, the ball was in the front top corner. HJK’s David Browne got his teammates in his arms to celebrate. Papua New Guinean Browne scored another beautiful European goal. The 1–0 win against Silkeborg brought HJK even closer to the jackpot.
– It has ignited in the European games. A great player and a good attitude, complimented Browne, HJK’s topper Arttu Hoskonen.
In the opening part of the previous qualifying round against Maribor, Browne spectacularly jumped from the wing to the shooting position and scored a big goal. Hoskonen’s comments keep itching.
– Lucas Lingman dribbled well for me from the corner kick.
– I’m just happy that I get to play a lot and score goals as well, Browne said reservedly.
A new role

The joy of the game radiates from Browne. In his third season in Helsinki’s blue and white striped jersey, the solid speedster has not always been so comfortable.
Playing time has been on the cards at times. Even before the start of the current season, there were at least rumors about a change of scenery.
Already in the training season, it became clear that Browne had to adapt to a new kind of role, when HJK used three top players in an organized manner. Known as an attacking wing, Browne was made a right winger, wingback.
– The role is different because I’m used to playing on the wing. However, the team needs me as wing support, so I’ll take care of it. I think I’ve adapted to it well, Browne commented on his role.
– David is a very Conscientious player. He has international level speed. I think it was pretty clear that he can play as a winger. Already last season he played in it against Maccabi in the Conference League, head coach Toni Koskela said.
Cannon paint put a smile on the HJK pilot’s face.
– Browne has saved his great goals for a pretty good place.
The turning points
On August 18, 2011, a wonderful evening was experienced in Töölö. Young Teemu Pukki struck twice as the great Schalke 04 fell at the hands of HJK. The German media updated the catastrophic loss.
Now the opponent was not of the same class, although very high quality.
Silkeborg was exactly what was expected: it was calm to build its long attacks through ball control. HJK forced the Danish team to play through the wings and skillfully blocked the middle lane. When Klubi sped from high, Silkeborg had difficulties to pass it.
The defense of the own penalty area seen against Maribor was again convincing.

The second episode experienced two twists and turns. Silkeborg started to gain more and more control right at the beginning of the second 45 minutes.
– It was mainly due to their changes that we defended a little too deep. Silkeborg changed its shape and brought more players to the wing lanes. We lost the ball too easily, but we still got counterattack blanks, Koskela summed up.
The second significant twist of the episode was born from the best premise. Anders Klynge tore through the drive-thru by Malik Abubakar I frowned and saw red.
Koskela reacted and took the offensive power in. The picture of the game changed in one fell swoop, and it could even be HJK’s salvation.
The 1-0 win at home gave a good, but by no means relaxing starting point for the week.
– This is not over yet. It’s going to be a tough game next week. Overall, however, we defended very well today, Browne explained.
Credit topper Miro Tenho and target attacker Bojan Radulovic got their warning account full and will not be allowed to play next Thursday in Silkeborg.
The winner of the match pair will play in the group stage of the Europa League in the fall.
