Successful for Inter Miami II
David Beckham’s son Romeo is trying his hand at English football. Premier League club Brentford FC signed the 20-year-old son of the former Man United star for the second team on loan until the end of the season from Inter Miami, where he has played in MLS Next Pro and has scored two goals in 26 competitive games in 2020 and marked ten templates. Beckham Junior should gain experience and develop in his home country. “I am very proud and very happy to be here,” he was quoted as saying in a club statement on Friday.
“An exciting start to the year. Now the hard work and fun begins. Proud of you buddy,” David Beckham (47) wrote in an Instagram story, where he is pictured with his son in front of the Brentford club building. Romeo Beckham has been training with the Bees for a while and initially only wanted to keep fit with the west London club during the US League break.

From 2014 to 2015, Romeo Beckham played in Arsenal’s youth team before moving to the United States for family reasons. It remains questionable whether he will ever be able to pursue a career like his father. With Manchester United, the 115-time national player was a total of six times English champion, World Cup and Champions League winner and won the cup twice and the English Supercup five times. He also played for Real Madrid, AC Milan, PSG and Los Angeles Galaxy.
