De Kock was found in Meerkerk last Monday. He is suspected of kidnapping and being involved in the death of the 4-year-old boy Dean. Dean’s remains were found that same evening on the edge of the Oosterschelde on Neeltje Jans (Vrouwenpolder).

De Kock drove a light gray Peugeot 206, with the Belgian registration 2-ARC-250. He appears to have crossed the Belgian-Dutch border at Sint Jansteen and then drove through the Westerscheldetunnel.

The man then continued on his way to Koudekerke, where he stayed for several hours. In that night he also appears to have been in Vlissingen. In addition, in the early morning of Saturday January 15, he also spent a few hours in Middelburg and returned to Koudekerke a few times. It is not known whether the four-year-old boy Dean was also with him during this time.

After the last short visit to Koudekerke, the suspect drove to Neeltje Jans on Saturday afternoon, where he left the victim. After this he left the province of Zeeland.

The Dutch police are looking for camera images of the route taken by De Kock. “Do you have camera images that correspond to these times? Then call the police: 0900-8844. Or via the Police WhatsApp number 06 – 1220 7006. Or you can call anonymously via Meld Misdaad Anoniem (0800 – 7000)”, according to the website of the Dutch police.
