They were so happy together, Dennis Veurman and Anja. They met in 2013 on the terrace of café Fraans Marie in Albergen and there was an immediate click. Since August 2019 they lived together in Anja’s house in Weerselo. But things did not go well between Anja’s daughters Barbara, Joséphine and Annemarie Hoek. That didn’t bother the couple. “Because we were happy,” says Veurman. That is also what neighbor Alex Vos from Weerselo says, who has known Anja for quite some time and who maintains her garden. “Anja brightened up because of the relationship with Dennis,” he says.
