Daryl van Mieghem leaves FC Volendam permanently and signs with ADO Den Haag

Van Mieghem, who was born in Amsterdam, was recently told by FC Volendam that he had to count on less playing time. Thus went the experienced footballer looking for a new employer and found it in ADO Den Haag.

FC Volendam took over Van Mieghem from De Graafschap in the summer of 2021 and promotion to the premier league was immediately achieved in his first season. In the promotion year, Van Mieghem was one of the supporting forces and he scored eleven times in 37 games. In addition, Van Mieghem provided sixteen assists that season. Van Mieghem was also able to provide good statistics in the Eredivisie last year. With eight goals, the striker became FC Volendam’s club top scorer.
