DJ artist Darude, real name Ville Virtanenon his Twitter account takes a stand on the ongoing uproar over the racist writings connected to Finance Minister Riikka Purraa (ps).

In Darude’s opinion, hate is justified in the Finnish administration if racist statements are not clearly dismissed.

– Without taking a clear stance against racism, hatred is justified and promoted at the highest levels of the administration. I don’t want my beloved Finland to be represented in this way. It is infuriating, sad and embarrassing, Darude writes.

In recent days, there has been news about guest posts on the Scripta blog previously maintained by Jussi Halla-aho, where the pseudonym “riikka” has written statements containing violence and racism. It was suspected that Riikka Purra, the chairman of Basic Finns, was behind the writings.

First, Purra did not admit or deny that he was the author of the texts in question. On Tuesday afternoon, Purra admitted on Twitter that he was behind the texts and apologized for his previous writings.

– I apologize for my stupid social media comments 15 years ago and for the harm and resentment that they understandably caused. I’m not a perfect person, I’ve made mistakes, among other things, Purra writes in his tweet chain.
