Darmstadt 98 extended the contract with the captain and the longest -serving professional in the squad. Fabian Holland stays with the lilies beyond summer. The 34-year-old’s working paper originally ran out at the end of the season. Holland moved from Hertha BSC to Darmstadt in 2015, previously he had spent a loan with a season. 296 missions with seven goals and 28 templates for the second division club are in the vita of the left -back. Since April last year, however, it has been missing due to a cruciate ligament and inner ligament tear and finally due to illness.
“Fabian Holland is the epitome of absolute identification with the club. He is a real personality in and next to the square. Holland, who goes into his twelfth season with the lilies, explained: “After a difficult year for me personally, this contract extension is a very special one.
