There is currently a police action going on at the Empel junction, between the A59 and A2, in the search for the missing Hebe (10) and her supervisor Sanne (26).
There is no word yet on any possible occupants of the vehicle found. According to the police, the primary focus is on emergency services.
The police have currently closed the connecting road between the A59 and the A2 at the Empel junction. Fire brigade and an air ambulance are also present.
Sanne and Hebe left at the end of the afternoon on Monday from ‘t Overstapje. This is an orthopedagogical day center on Sint Theresiastraat in Raamsdonksveer. Hebe is disabled and needs care. Sanne is her supervisor. Police issued an Amber Alert on Monday.
The work of the investigative services and the efforts of hundreds of volunteers have so far yielded nothing.
